The city of New Orleans is a celebration, since yesterday the Saints won the Super Bowl over the Indianapolis Colts in Miami.
Although the Colts were the favorites to win this competition, the underdogs prevailed, so congratulations to those who put their money on New Orleans.
31 points meant the Saints won the cup for the first time, after 42 years playing in the NFL (over just 17 points made by the Colts).
Phil Ivey has surpassed Daniel Negreanu to officially become No. 1 in lifetime tournament poker winnings.
Daniel Negreanu had previously been the number one poker player taking into account his winnings. Since the last Aussie Millions Tournament Phil Ivey has reached the amount of more than $12.6 million in lifetime tournament winnings, just ahead of Negreanu with approximately $12.3 million.
PokerStars has announced its new North American Poker Tour, as well as the hostess for the new series, model and television personality Joanna Krupa.
The NAPT is billed as “ the first major poker tour in North America created by poker players for poker players with accessible buy-ins, expectations for massive prize pools and thousands of players from around the world all competing for millions of dollars”.
